Job summary

The Accounting Intern position at our Burlington, MA headquarters provides real-world training in financial management as part of the Business Management Training program. You will learn basic accounting procedures and support the team across accounts payable/receivable, statements, and analyses.

The internship runs from late May to August, roughly 10 weeks, with a 40-hour work week and compensation of $25 per hour. High potential for performance-based promotions as you progress.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Commit to a 40 hour work week May–August 2027.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting or Finance.
• Expected graduation date between August 2027–May 2028.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements & analysis.
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments.
• Assist accounting managers with reports and other tasks.
• Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receipts & petty cash.
• Assist in accounting schedules & filing.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.

This Summer Internship offers compensation of $25 / hour. This position is located at our Group headquarters in Burlington, MA - 10 Second Ave, Burlington, MA 01803

The Internship is designed to be a temporary position with employment not to exceed 89 days and will start late May/early June and last through August with a minimum commitment of 10 weeks.

Responsibilities

Starting as an Accounting Intern, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis. Duties include but are not limited to:
