Job summary

Enterprise Holdings in Rockville, MD is seeking an Accounting Intern to learn all aspects of financial management within a real-world business environment.

This temporary position offers 25–40 hours per week for 12 weeks, with pay at $20.00 per hour. You must be graduating with a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance in May 2027 and be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled for Spring 2027 in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting or Finance with graduation May 2027.
• Must have at least 6 months experience in customer service, leadership or administration.
• Experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Background check acceptable including driving record and references.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and analysis.
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments.
• Assist accounting managers with reports.
• Involved with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable; cash receipts and petty cash.
• Assist in accounting schedules and filing.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.

Responsibilities

Starting as anAccounting Intern, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist in preparing financial statement & analysis
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments
• Assist accounting managers with reports, etc.
• Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receipts & petty cash
• Assist in accounting schedules & filing
• Perform miscellaneous administrativeduties as needed

• Must have at least 6 months experience in customer service, leadership or administration
