Job summary

Reynolds Community College seeks qualified applicants for the position of Accounting Instructor in the School of Business, Humanities and Public Service. This full-time, nine-month faculty-ranked appointment will be based at the Parham Road Campus in Richmond, Virginia.

The selected candidate will teach Principles of Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Auditing, Federal Taxation, and Cost Accounting, and participate in curriculum development, distance learning, and course development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Accounting.
• Minimum of two years of related work experience and/or college-level teaching experience.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use instructional technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and oral/written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to teach in multiple modalities, including online (asynchronous and synchronous) and in-person.
• Proven teaching pedagogy that supports multi-cultural populations and promotes diversity, cultural understanding, and inclusion.
