Candidates must hold a Master's degree in accounting (or related) with 18 graduate hours in accounting and two years of relevant experience, plus strong communication and ability to create syllabi and exams.

Qualifications

• Two years' recent occupational experience in accounting including financial or managerial accounting, payroll, taxation, and use of Quickbooks.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to write syllabi and exams; develop learning strategies, curriculum and assessments; ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level accounting courses in-person on campus or online (Principles and Intermediate Accounting, Payroll, Computerized Accounting, Taxation).
• Maintain currency in teaching disciplines and trends in community college education.
• Be an active participant in departmental communication and student engagement.
