Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Reynolds Community College seeks qualified applicants for the position of Accounting Instructor in the School of Business, Humanities and Public Service. This full-time, nine-month faculty-ranked appointment will be based at the Parham Road Campus in Richmond, Virginia.

Special Assignments

• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
• May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Accounting.

Additional Considerations

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CPA, CISA, or CIA.
• Industry experience with a national and/or large regional accounting firm.
• Experience with or knowledge of data analytics.
• Ability to teach college-level Accounting courses including:
  • Principles of Accounting
  • Intermediate Accounting
  • Auditing
  • Federal Taxation
  • Cost Accounting
• Experience in curriculum development, distance learning, and/or course development.
• Strong subject matter expertise in accounting.
• Previous teaching experience in a community college setting.

Operation of a State Vehicle. No Supervises Employees. Yes Required Travel.
