Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/IS or related field.
• 7+ years of experience supporting finance systems or accounting operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial controls.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with ERP/finance systems a plus, Aderant familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance Accounting & Finance systems across the Contract-to-Cash lifecycle (billing, revenue, A/R, collections, client arrangements).
• Partner with Accounting and IT to define system roadmaps, priorities, and improvements.
• Lead process analysis to reduce manual work and strengthen controls.
• Translate business requirements into system enhancements, testing plans, and docs.
• Manage system improvements from concept through deployment and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance Accounting & Finance systems supporting the Contract-to-Cash lifecycle, including billing, revenue management, A/R, collections, and client arrangements
• Partner with Accounting and IT teams to define system roadmaps, priorities, and improvement initiatives
• Lead process analysis to identify inefficiencies, reduce manual work, and strengthen controls
• Translate business requirements into system enhancements, testing plans, and implementation documentation
• Manage system improvements from concept through deployment
• Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders on application enhancements and issue resolution
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and technology to improve efficiency and user experience
• Ensure system changes align with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial reporting needs

Ideal Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
• 7+ years of experience supporting finance systems, accounting operations, implementations, or process improvement initiatives
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial controls
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and translating business needs into technical solutions
• Experience with ERP/financial systems preferred
• Aderant experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
