Job summary

NextPath Workforce Solutions is seeking an Accounting & Finance Manager to join our client's team in Tampa, FL. This is an onsite, direct-hire role with a salary range of $100,000–$115,000 depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in accounting in MSP/MSSP/SaaS or tech, strong GAAP knowledge, and proven leadership of monthly close, budgeting, and forecasting. Visa sponsorship is not available; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in MSP, MSSP, SaaS, or tech.
• Direct experience with recurring revenue, including deferred revenue and revenue recognition.
• Proven leadership in monthly close processes and coaching staff.
• Experience owning or contributing to annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge with hands-on reconciliation and journal entries.
• Ability to build scalable financial processes and leverage automation/AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Oversee revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and recurring revenue accounting.
• Manage and coach the accounting team, including hiring and development.
• Own the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, treasury, and vendor management.
• Oversee billing accuracy, AR aging, collections, and payroll processes.
• Review gross margin reports by service line and validate contract setups.
• Collaborate on pricing and margin analysis with Sales, Service Delivery, People Ops.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve month-end close efficiency.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for executive leadership.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and tax agencies.

SALARY: $100,000–$115,000 (depending on experience)
