Job summary

NextPath Workforce Solutions is assisting a client in Orlando, FL, to hire a Senior Accountant for an onsite, direct‑hire role. The position requires strong accounting experience and the ability to manage international invoicing, VAT calculations, and government contract compliance.

The successful candidate will oversee GL, AP/AR, payroll, and monthly financial statements, with exposure to Deltek Costpoint, NetSuite, and QuickBooks Time.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with DOD/US Government accounting (FAR/DFAR) and Costpoint.
• Proficiency in GAAP, SBA, GSA, and the Service Contract Act.
• Strong NetSuite and QuickBooks Time skills.
• Knowledge of international accounting, foreign currency billing, and VAT.
• Ability to manage government contract invoicing and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting operations: general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, payroll.
• Manage international contract invoices, including foreign currencies and VAT.
• Review VAT filings for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
• Develop and maintain a 13-week cash forecast.
• Coordinate month-end closing activities and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Review and prepare international journal entries for compliance.
• Support budget preparation and indirect rate projections.
• Assist with financial audits and auditor requests.
• Support forecasting and financial analysis including variance explanations.
• Contribute to annual insurance renewal data and analysis.
• Facilitate ad hoc financial reports and meetings as needed.

SALARY:

$86K - $125K (depending on experience)
