Position Overview/Project Details:

Under general supervision, the Financial Analyst will perform complex financial and analytical studies. Responsibilities include conducting budgeting and accounting functions, supporting physician recruitment and compensation modeling, and assisting in the preparation of financial and executive reports. Key duties involve building financial pro-formas, researching trends, and evaluating data. The candidate must develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for models, including technical analysis to assess current and future financial performance.

The role requires gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data to make recommendations for operational changes, acquisition activities, and performing sensitivity analyses to test financial models. The analyst will also assist in preparing shared risk and Managed Care analytics, payer modeling, and projecting margins and profitability, including cost-benefit analyses such as NPV and ROI for growth initiatives. Additionally, supporting analytics, benchmarking, and contract interpretation related to physician compensation, productivity, and incentives are part of the responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Healthcare experience (strongly preferred)
• Strong Excel skills (including SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, embedded IF statements, and other analytical formulas)
• Reconciliation and audit experience (preferred)
• Productivity/Sales analytics (preferred)
• Physician compensation and productivity experience (optional)
• Must have advanced Excel skills and experience in COGNOS
