Job Title: Accounting/Finance - Financial Analyst I

Location: Remote

Schedule: Mon-Fri (PST 8am-5pm)

Pay: $47/hr on W2

Job Description:

Under general supervision, the Financial Analyst will perform complex financial and analytical studies. Conduct budgeting and accounting functions, support physician recruitment and compensation modeling. Will also assist in the preparation of financial and executive reports. Primary duties include building financial pro-formas, researching trends, and evaluating data. The candidate will develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for financial models, including technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. The candidate will gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize data to make recommendations for operational changes, acquisition activities, and perform sensitivity analyses to stress-test financial models and analytics. The role includes preparing shared risk and Managed Care analytics, payer modeling, and projecting margins and profitability, including cost-benefit analyses such as NPV and ROI for growth initiatives. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will support analytics, benchmarking, and contract interpretation related to physician compensation, productivity, and incentives.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Healthcare Experience (Strongly Preferred)
• Strong Excel skills including SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, PivotTables, embedded IF statements, and other analytical formulas for large datasets
• Reconciliation and Audit experience preferred
• Productivity/Sales Analytics preferred
• Experience with Physician Compensation and Productivity (optional)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with COGNOS required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
