Job Description

Position Overview/Project Details:

Under general supervision, the Financial Analyst will perform complex financial and analytical studies. Responsibilities include conducting budgeting and accounting functions, supporting physician recruitment and compensation modeling, and assisting in the preparation of financial and executive reports. The primary duties involve building financial pro-formas, researching trends, and evaluating data. The candidate will develop, interpret, and implement financial models, including technical analysis to assess current and future financial performance. Additionally, the role requires gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data to recommend operational changes, support acquisition activities, and perform sensitivity analyses to validate financial models and analytics. The analyst will also assist in preparing shared risk and Managed Care analytics, payer modeling, and projecting margins and profitability, including cost-benefit analysis such as NPV and ROI for growth initiatives. The position supports analytics, benchmarking, and contract interpretation related to physician compensation, productivity, and incentives.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Healthcare experience (strongly preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, embedded IF statements, and other analytical formulas)
• Reconciliation and audit experience (preferred)
• Productivity/Sales analytics experience (preferred)
• Physician compensation and productivity experience (optional)
• Must have advanced Excel skills and experience with COGNOS

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm PST
