Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support, primarily processing supplier invoices from manufacturer statements across regions.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent, strong bookkeeping knowledge, high integrity, and proficient MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Attention to detail and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree/GED/High School Diploma.
• A thorough understanding of bookkeeping and accounting practice.
• Ability to maintain high level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Superior customer service skills and excellent telephone interaction.

Responsibilities

• Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures.
• Assemble and review invoices to be completed for payment.
• Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files.
• Input daily bookkeeping and record keeping.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods/services were received before processing invoices.
• Post business transactions and verify financial data for account records.
• Provide other clerical support as needed.
• Maintain meticulous records of outstanding invoices.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposes.
• Monitor payments to vendors to ensure timely processing.
