Gensler in Houston is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to manage consultant accounts payable for the South Central Region and accounts receivable collections for Houston and Austin. The role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and improving internal client workflows.

The ideal candidate has an accounting or business degree (or 3–5 years in professional services), strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and experience with Deltek Vision.

Qualifications

• Accounting or business administration degree or 3–5 years in professional services
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; strong communication skills
• Deltek Vision software experience preferred

Responsibilities

• A/R collections: Coordinate with Project Managers and clients to resolve issues and improve cash flow
• Process consultant invoices for approval by Project Managers
• Data entry for consultant invoices for Houston and Austin
• Run cash requirements reports and support weekly check runs
• Communicate with consultants on short payments and collection issues
• Understand project billing deadlines, terms, and accruals
• Maintain organized consultant vendor files
• Assist Regional Operating Officer with calendar management and travel
• Prepare presentations using PowerPoint
