Job summary

Peyton Resource Group is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the corporate accounting function, owning monthly, quarterly, and annual close, with oversight of general ledger, financial statement preparation, and intercompany reconciliations. You will drive consolidations across entities and collaborate with shared services, finance, and operations.

The role requires 5+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3 years of Audit experience is required.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• Hands-on leader who can manage end-to-end financial close with cross-functional collaboration.
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.
• Experience partnering with AP and overseeing accounts payable processes; Concur experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of internal controls related to financial reporting, AP, vendor management, expenses, and payments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes.
• Oversee general ledger activities and financial statement preparation and review.
• Coordinate consolidations across multiple legal entities and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure accurate reconciliations, accruals, cutoff, and elimination entries.
• Collaborate with shared services, finance, operations, and business leadership.
• Support AP teams and oversee the accounting impact of expenses, vendor management, and payment processes.
• Maintain strong internal controls related to financial reporting and compliance.
