Rentokil North America is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. The role includes preparing deposits, posting payments, and processing invoices in a hybrid, full-time office setting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in finance or accounting, strong Excel and accounting software skills, and a high level of accuracy. A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bank deposits and post payments to customer accounts
• Research discrepancies in customer payments
• Prepare customer invoices
• Process vendor invoices into Accounts Payable system
• Reconcile vendor invoices and identify discrepancies
• Request and process W-9 forms from new vendors
• Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and Google Docs
• Hands‑on experience with MS Excel and accounting software
• Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk with three or more years of experience
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED - required
• 3+ (three) years of Finance or Accounting experience - required
• This is a full-time position.
• The Accounting Assistant will report to an office on a hybrid schedule.
• Work Schedule: This job tends to have regular office hours but may have extended hours due to time-sensitive deadlines and time frames.
• Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Successfully meet pre‑employment background screen
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle record search

Salary

Base Pay Range Hourly: $13.94 - $25.00 While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
