Job description

Ledgent Finance & Accounting has partnered with an established investment management firm located in Pasadena, CA and is actively seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team! This is an indefinite long contract and on-site, M-F. Hours are 7:30am-4:30pm.

We're seeking a highly motivated Accounting Clerk to provide support to the Accounting department. Some of the main responsibilities include; processing transactions, issuing checks, updating ledgers, assisting with financial reports, and creating and updating expense reports. They will also be responsible for handling communications with clients.

This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computers, especially advanced Excel, is a crucial requirement for this role.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of accounting/finance experience.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Must have strong Excel skills (pivot table, vlookup, sumif, etc.)
