Position Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Accounting department. This position will assist the team with a variety of essential financial and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Verifying figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding
• Reconciling daily deposits, daily cash reports, and receipts
• Posting data to accounting software
• Calculating, preparing, and issuing bills, invoices, and account statements
• Verifying vendor invoices with purchase orders, ensuring accurate pricing and extensions
• Handling inquiries and questions from vendors or internal departments
• Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or a combination of education and 1 year of relevant experience
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in computer use, preferably MS Word and Excel (or comparable software)
• Knowledge of accounting software required
• Extremely high attention to detail
• Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrates professionalism with diverse personalities and cultures
  
  

Work Hours

Typically, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM.
