Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an Accounting Associate in a hybrid role in Minnesota (Lakeville area). The position offers early-career exposure to multiple accounting functions and a pathway to professional growth, with mentorship from experienced finance professionals.

You will process AP/AR, assist with reconciliations and month-end close, and maintain accurate data in accounting systems, while building solid Excel skills and contributing to financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or related experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Assist with account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes
• Enter and maintain accurate financial data within accounting systems
• Assist with invoice processing, expense tracking, and documentation management
• Support the accounting team with administrative and operational tasks as needed
