Jobot is seeking a Consulting Accounting Clerk in Fort Worth, TX to support our Accounting + Finance team on-site. The role involves matching invoices, POs, and receiving reports, reconciling discrepancies, and preparing financial analyses to guide management decisions.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of accounting experience, proficiency with 3 Way Match and MS Excel, and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3 Way Match to ensure accuracy in financial records by matching invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports before payments.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information; investigate and correct differences.
• Assist in preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets.
• Provide management with accounting data and analyses to support decisions.
• Consult with clients to understand financial needs and provide suitable accounting solutions.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes and fiscal responsibility.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• 1. Performing 3 Way Match to ensure accuracy in our financial records. This involves matching invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports before making payments.
• 2. Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. You will need to investigate any differences you find and correct them as necessary.
• 3. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• 4. Maintaining financial security by following internal controls and procedures.
• 5. Providing financial information to the management by researching and analyzing accounting data and presenting your findings in a clear and concise manner.
• 6. Consulting with clients to understand their financial needs and providing them with appropriate accounting solutions.
• 7. Collaborating with the accounting team to improve financial processes and promote fiscal responsibility throughout the company.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills. The following qualifications are required:

• 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Accounting + Finance industry.
• 2. Proficiency in 3 Way Match and Reconcile or equivalent skillset is a must.
• 3. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4. Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
• 5. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• 6. Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• 7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
• 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
