Job Summary

A manufacturing company in Downey, CA is seeking an Accounting Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity. The Accounting Clerk will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting vendor and customer account activity, and helping the accounting team meet daily and month-end deadlines. Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices, verify accuracy, match supporting documentation, and prepare payments for approval.
• Support accounts receivable functions, including invoice preparation, payment posting, and customer account follow-up.
• Reconcile vendor statements, customer accounts, bank activity, and general ledger-related transactions as assigned.
• Maintain organized accounting records, assist with data entry, filing, and documentation for audits or internal review.
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies.
• Assist the accounting team with month-end close tasks and other administrative accounting duties as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay rate: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour.
• Job type: Temp-to-hire.
• Location: Downey, CA.
