The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, strong Excel and general software skills, and the ability to learn QuickBooks and related systems quickly. This is a full-time, non-exempt role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• PC literate with strong Excel skills.
• Ability to learn QuickBooks and other software quickly.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.
• Reliable and proactive with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs accounts payable transactions into accounting software system.
• Prepare and post General Journal entries.
• Open and distribute mail to Office team members.
• Maintain filing systems and accounting reports.
• Perform data entry for vendor transactions.
• Make bank deposits and run errands as needed.
• Generate reports for the accounting department.
• Maintain office equipment and order supplies.
