Job summary

Synergy Search is conducting a confidential search for an Accounting Associate on behalf of a well established, growing organization. You will sit at the center of how payments move through the business, in a role being reshaped into a true operations seat.

If you like owning a busy desk, solving complex payment puzzles, and building a long term career, this is the seat. You will work fully in office for the first 3 months, then hybrid with 3 days in office each week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in accounting operations, payments, or AP beyond basic invoice entry.
• Experience with payment splits, allocations, or multi party reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables.
• Looking for a long term home and career path.

Responsibilities

• Manage the shared accounting inbox and daily payment flow
• Process checks, ACHs, and wires
• Handle payment splits and allocations across locations and departments
• Reconcile and remit to partners accurately and on time
• Resolve billing discrepancies with client facing teams
• Analyze system reports in Excel
