Job summary

Standard Air is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team. The role focuses on processing accounts payable invoices, reconciling accounts, filing monthly sales and use tax, and handling various general accounting tasks.

The responsibilities include processing invoices, month-end journal entries, tax filings, daily banking activities, and assisting with customer account inquiries and postings. Strong Microsoft Office skills and 1–3 years of accounting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience with general ledger and journal entries.
• Moderate to Expert level in Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, prepare payments, and streamline AP automation.
• Record month-end journal entries and perform duties as assigned.
• Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns for required states.
• Handle daily banking activities and other reconciliations as assigned.
• Assist with customer account inquiries and post customer payments as needed.

Standard Air is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team. Our Accounting Associate will process accounts payable invoices, reconcile assigned accounts, file monthly sales and use tax, and other general accounting tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process invoices, prepare payments, and work to streamline the AP automation process.
• Responsible for month-end journal entries and duties as assigned.
• Responsible for preparing and filing monthly sales and use tax returns for required states.
• Responsible for daily banking activities and other reconciliations as assigned.
• Assist with customer account inquiries and posting customer payments as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years of previous accounting experience with general ledger and journal entries.
• Moderate to Expert level in Microsoft office suite programs.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Must be independent, organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; both written and verbal required.
