Job description

MultiSensor AI develops and deploys intelligent multi-sensing platforms that combine edge and cloud software with advanced artificial intelligence. Our integrated systems leverage data from high-resolution thermal imagers, visible and acoustic sensors, vibration measurement tools, and laser spectroscopy to protect customers’ most critical assets. By unifying condition-based monitoring data with proprietary analytics, our platform delivers actionable insights designed to reduce unplanned downtime, lower maintenance costs, prevent hazards, and extend asset life.

Ongoing Responsibilities

  • Support daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities.
  • Prepare customer invoices, apply payments, and perform collections follow-up in coordination with internal teams.
  • Process vendor invoices, ensure proper coding and approval routing, and assist with scheduled payment runs.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and assigned balance‑sheet accounts on a timely basis.
  • Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate documentation.
  • Assist with month‑end close activities, working closely with the Corporate Controller.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date vendor and customer master data.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and gathering documentation.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes and internal controls in a growing start‑up environment with structured guidance.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams—including operations, procurement, and sales—on billing, expense, and accounting matters.
  • Reports to the Corporate Controller in an individual contributor capacity with ongoing direction and support.

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Open to candidates at various career stages including, new graduates who are CPA‑eligible.
  • 0–5 years of relevant accounting experience; AR/AP experience is a plus but not required.
  • Working knowledge of basic GAAP principles.
  • Proficiency with Excel required; NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic start‑up environment while maintaining clear communication with the Corporate Controller.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under guidance.
