A growing global SaaS company is looking for an experienced, energetic, and motivated Senior Accountant with a strong background in general ledger and/or revenue accounting.

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the company’s accounting operations and monthly close process, with responsibility for key aspects of the general ledger. In addition to supporting accurate accounting in a growing organization, this person will be expected to identify opportunities for improvement and help drive positive process change.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on month-end close experience within a global tech or SaaS environment. This role reports to the Assistant Corporate Controller.

What will you do:

• Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing and posting accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, leases, commissions, and other journal entries.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations, research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner, and assist with the preparation of financial statements.
• Review and approve vendor bills to ensure proper GL account and cost-center coding and accurate posting to the appropriate accounting period. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and process employee expense reimbursements in accordance with company policies. Partner with credit card holders to ensure transactions are properly coded and classified and complete monthly reconciliations.
• Support the recording of cash activity in the general ledger, reconcile bank statements, and research and resolve unreconciled cash transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare weekly cash analysis and forecasts.
• Prepare monthly flux analysis and provide explanations for variances.
• Support management with special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis, and other accounting-related initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of general ledger and/or revenue accounting experience, ideally within a tech or SaaS company with global operations.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience is required.
• Strong understanding of month-end close processes and US GAAP.
• Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to independently research and resolve discrepancies.
• CPA or progress toward CPA certification is an advantage.
• Experience using AI tools is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a Controller-track role is an advantage.

The salary range for this position is $90,000–$115,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
