Job summary

Trinity Pension Consultants, based in Akron, Ohio, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our Finance Department. This part-time, on-site role offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities to grow accounting skills.

You will handle bank deposits, process payables and receivables in Intacct, perform reconciliations, and support financial projects in a collaborative team environment. Minimum one year of accounting experience is preferred; reloca­tion to Northeast Ohio is possible for the

Qualifications

• Live in (or relocate to) Northeast Ohio.
• One year of accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with Intacct or similar accounting software is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication with sharp attention to detail.
• Self-starter who works well independently and provides high-level client service.

Responsibilities

• Handle bank deposits of customer checks and follow up on overdue invoices to keep cash flow moving.
• Execute accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, and enter financial data accurately into Intacct.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations, and research and resolve discrepancies when something doesn't match.
• Help with routine accounting functions.
• Assist the Finance Department with administrative items and support financial projects as they come up.
• Jump in wherever you're needed; we're a team and we roll up our sleeves together.
