Job summary

Superior Home Products is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the Controller with AP and related tasks in Missouri. Responsibilities include processing AP daily, maintaining GL accuracy, assisting HR with onboarding, inventory counting, COI logs, payroll processing, and keeping Excel records up to date.

A proactive, detail-oriented candidate with strong Excel skills is preferred. The role emphasizes compliance with privacy standards and data protection, with opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable daily / as needed.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and account reconciliations spreadsheets.
• Assist in the HR department with safety, work comp claims, and onboarding.
• Inventory preparation and participate in inventory counting.
• Maintain COI logs and forward copies upon request.
• Assist with weekly payroll processing.
• Keep all Excel spreadsheets up to date as invoices are received.
• Process Accounts Payable checks twice per week.
