Job summary

Superior Home Products is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the Controller with Accounts Payable, general ledger tasks, and payroll processing in our Wentzville, MO office.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and solid analytical abilities. You will also assist HR onboarding, inventory counting, COI logs, and routine financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Comply with all industry privacy standards and data protection protocols.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable daily / as needed
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and account reconciliations spreadsheets
• Assist in the HR department with safety, work comp claims, and onboarding
• Inventory preparation and participate in inventory counting
• Maintain COI logs and forward copies upon request
• Assist with weekly payroll processing
• Keep all excel spreadsheets up to date as invoices are received
• Process Account Payable checks twice week
