Job summary

Integrity Roofing & Construction in Washington, DC is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day accounting tasks, assist with job costing, and track project finances.

This on-site, full-time role offers growth opportunities, a stable office environment, and exposure to Sage, Ramp, and AccuLynx within a busy construction operation.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, with 1+ year experience and a degree in accounting or finance.

Qualifications

• Basic accounting principles (AP/AR, reconciliations, data entry).
• Experience with Sage or similar accounting systems.
• Familiarity with Ramp or other expense management platforms.
• Experience with AccuLynx or similar software (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear communication with internal teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain financial data in Ramp with accurate coding.
• Assist with accounts payable including invoice entry and payments.
• Support accounts receivable through invoicing and collections follow-up.
• Process and reconcile employee expenses and company card transactions.
• Track and allocate expenses to jobs and cost codes.
• Maintain job cost records and support documentation.
• Coordinate with operations via AccuLynx to verify job details.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Organize digital and physical financial records.
• Assist with month-end close and basic journal entries.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Accounting Assistant, you will support the day-to-day functions of the accounting department while playing a key role in job costing and project financial tracking.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress)

1+ year of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred

Construction or job costing experience is a plus, but not required
