Talentify is hiring an Accounting Assistant for an onsite role in Deerfield Beach, FL. You will support day-to-day accounting by managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate records in a collaborative team environment.

The position operates Monday through Friday with flexible coverage between 7:45 AM and 6:00 PM. It is a contract role with a pay range of $23.00–$27.00 per hour, reflecting qualifications and experience.

Job Description

The Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations by managing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities while maintaining accurate financial records. This position ensures timely payment processing, customer invoicing, cash application support, account reconciliation, and compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and process vendor invoices and obtain required approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and issue customer invoices.
• Track payments and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Support collection efforts and maintain accurate financial records through detailed data entry and documentation management.
• Process approximately 75-100 invoices per week.

Essential Skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in accounts payable and receivable processing, preferably in manufacturing.
• ERP experience, with a bonus if familiar with Epicor.

Work Environment

This role is onsite Monday through Friday with flexible coverage between 7:45 AM and 6:00 PM. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
