Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) in Pullman, WA is seeking an Accounting Analyst to help review AP and AR reconciliations and collaborate with our global Finance organization to project and analyze financial results. Under direct supervision, you will perform journal entries, analyses, budgeting, and cost analyses while upholding internal controls.

Strong Excel skills, solid accounting knowledge, and effective written and verbal communication are essential for success in this role,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, MIS, or related field.
• Experience with Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles.

Responsabilités

• Perform or audit standard journal entries, account analyses, workpapers, AP/AR reconciliations, and assist in performing month end close tasks.
• Prepare analysis of financial data for management review.
• Prepare and/or assist with preparation of budgets, projections, product cost analyses, and other analyses, including recommendations to management, and/or assist in documentation of internal controls.
• Assist with research and planning according to GAAP and current tax laws.
