Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) in Pullman, WA seeks an Accounting Analyst to perform journal entries, AP/AR reconciliations, and assist with month-end close tasks. You will analyze financial data for management review and assist in budgets and projections with cost analyses.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance/MIS or related field, experience with Excel, solid GAAP knowledge, and strong written and verbal communication skills. On-site, competitive pay and benefits.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, MIS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles, theories, and concepts from education.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform standard journal entries, account analyses, workpapers, AP/AR reconciliations, and assist in month-end close tasks.
• Prepare analysis of financial data for management review and assist with budgets, projections, cost analyses, and internal controls documentation.
• Research and plan according to GAAP and current tax laws.
