Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Considerable experience in governmental accounting and/or auditing required.
• Proficiency in computer skills; ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing; bilingual/biliterate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in financial accounting and reporting; maintains accounting schedules and reconciliations weekly/monthly.
• Prepares journal entries and assists in year-end closing and adjustments.
• Contributes to development of policies related to assigned areas of responsibility.
• Assists in preparing the district Annual Financial Report and Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
