Qualifications

• Must have CPA or BS in Accounting.
• Must have 10+ yrs of working with FASB/GASB.
• Must have 10+ yrs of financial statements preparation.
• Must be advanced in Microsoft Office.
• Must have General Ledger systems experience (QuickBooks, PeachTree, CYMA, FLAIR, etc.).
• Ability to create, update and manage desk procedures.
• Must have financial & programmatic compliance audits experience.

Responsibilities

Candidate Responsibilities

• Maintains various specialized accounting records
• Compiles and analyses of large amounts of financial data
• Ability to read and interpret statutes and regulations
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Pronouncements
• Understanding of Genal Ledgers, Trail Balances, and GAAP Financial Statements
• Knowledge of Microsoft (ex. Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
