Job summary

Forvis Mazars US is seeking an Accounting Advisory Services (AAS) leader to guide client engagements across complex accounting initiatives. You will manage project teams, deliver technical accounting solutions, and foster strong senior-level client relationships.

The role integrates technical accounting excellence with leadership, mentoring, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive growth in our national practice. A CPA and 5+ years in advisory accounting are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting advisory experience.
• CPA License required; strong technical accounting knowledge (GAAP, SEC).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for C-suite executives with strategic guidance and updates.
• Cultivate client relationships and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Develop engagement strategies and lead complex accounting advisory projects.
• Conduct technical accounting research and advise on GAAP/SEC requirements.
• Lead engagements involving IPOs, SPACs, M&A and other strategic initiatives.
• Oversee engagement quality and manage risks to ensure client satisfaction.
• Mentor project teams with coaching and performance feedback.
• Support business development through proposals, scoping, and pricing.
