Job summary

High Country Search Group in Las Vegas is seeking a dedicated right-hand to Accounting Leadership within a growing commercial real estate team. You will serve as the primary contact for tenants, vendors, and the internal maintenance team, while coordinating work orders and property needs.

You will supervise two maintenance staff, process invoices, track rent, and support AR/AP activities. The role also involves CAM reconciliations and improving property management workflows, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial real estate, property management, or accounting.
• Knowledge of AP/AR and basic accounting processes.
• Experience communicating with tenants, vendors, and clients.
• Ability to balance detailed accounting work with property management responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills managing multiple properties and deadlines.
• Familiarity with Las Vegas market vendors is a plus.

My client is a growing Commercial Real Estate group searching for someone to join their team and serve as the right-hand to Accounting Leadership.

What you’ll do

• Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and the internal maintenance team.
• Coordinate and follow up on work orders, repairs, and other property needs.
• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day work of two maintenance team members.
• Process and submit invoices and support accounts payable activities.
• Track tenant payments, follow up on rent, and support accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare common area maintenance reconciliations and assist with monthly property distributions.
• Help build, document, and improve property management systems, procedures, and recurring workflows.
• Support the accounting leader with additional accounting projects as needed.
• Take ownership of priorities, identify what needs to happen next, and follow tasks through to completion.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in commercial real estate, property management, accounting, or a related environment.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting processes.
• Experience communicating directly with tenants, clients, vendors, or other external partners.
• The ability to move comfortably between detailed accounting work and relationship-focused property management responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to hold productive conversations with a variety of stakeholders.
• A proactive, hardworking, and curious approach, with a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple entities, properties, projects, and deadlines.
• Resourcefulness in identifying local vendors and coordinating services in the Las Vegas market.
• An accounting degree is preferred but not required.

Commercial real estate experience is strongly preferred. Candidates who began in property management and developed meaningful accounting experience—or accounting professionals with real estate and client-facing experience—may be especially well suited to the role.

Compensation

• Base salary up to $75,000
• A fully discretionary bonus may be awarded based on individual and company performance.

Work location

• Primarily in person, with occasional remote flexibility
