Job summary

Coda Search is partnering with a quantitative asset management firm in Stamford, CT to hire an Accountant on the corporate accounting team, overseeing US operations, assisting with the month-end close, managing the GL, and supporting the annual audit.

This role offers exposure to financial analysis and variance/trend analysis across accounts, with responsibilities including posting journal entries, cash management, and preparing balance sheet schedules for year-end processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with multiple entities and large ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the month-end close and balance sheet items.
• Manage the GL and reconcile accounts.
• Manage P&L accounts and perform analysis.
• Prepare schedules and work papers for balance sheet accounts.
• Post journal entries and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare and review cash management activities.
• Assist with the annual audit and prepare supporting documentation.
