Job summary

Coda Search is partnering with a fast-growing consumer goods company based in Brooklyn, NY to hire a Senior Accountant who will own the month-end close and help build scalable processes.

Responsibilities include overseeing the month-end close for multiple entities, reconciling balance sheets and P&L, managing fixed assets, and supporting the annual audit. You should have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 3+ years of accounting experience, with strong Excel and NetSuite experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the month-end close process including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Manage multiple entities and intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Oversee fixed assets and manage depreciation schedules.
• Utilize Excel to analyze expenses and highlight variances.
• Review invoices and resolve vendor issues.
• Manage general ledger reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
• Support the annual audit by preparing schedules and liaising with external auditors.

Who You Are:
