The Intersect Group is seeking a Staff Accountant for an on-site contract role in Plano, TX. You will support month-end close, prepare journal entries, and maintain reconciliations across multiple accounts.

Strong analytical ability and collaboration with other departments are essential to ensure accurate financial reporting. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years of general accounting experience, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems (OneStream/JDE/SAP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Familiarity with ERP/FP&A systems and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany analysis.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Assist with audits and strengthen internal controls.
• Consolidate and analyze sales, cash, and financial data.
