Job summary

Equiliem is seeking an Accountant II for its Los Angeles, CA office. The role covers general accounting, month-end close, revenue recognition, and financial reporting for content licensing agreements. You will reconcile ledgers, analyze FX variances, and assist with audits while maintaining SOX controls.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in accounting, a Finance/Accounting degree, strong Excel skills, and excellent analytical abilities. CPA preferred; travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years of general accounting experience with reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• CPA certification preferred; SAP/Oracle experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze content licensing agreements and perform license fee calculations.
• Execute month-end and quarter-end close, including revenue recognition.
• Reconcile ledgers and analyze foreign exchange variances.
• Prepare financial reporting, journal entries, and aging reports.
• Support audits and ensure SOX compliance and internal controls.
