Job summary

Solomon Page is seeking an onsite Accountant for a Hollywood-based contract assignment. This role supports licensing agreements, revenue recognition, month-end and quarter-end close, reconciliations, financial analysis, and audit support.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong reconciliation and data-analysis skills, and proficiency with SAP, Oracle, or Oracle Fusion plus advanced Excel.

• 3-5 years accounting experience with strong reconciliation and high-volume data analysis experience required.
• Solid understanding of debits, credits, journal entries, and financial close processes.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or Oracle Fusion preferred, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Prior entertainment industry experience preferred.

• Analyze licensing agreements and contract terms to ensure accurate financial reporting, fee calculations, and revenue tracking.
• Prepare financial analyses including forecast-to-actual reporting, foreign exchange variance analysis, bad debt reviews, and present value reporting.
• Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with SOX and other key accounting controls.
• Perform ad hoc reporting, revenue share tracking, and intercompany financial analysis.

Job description

Our client, a global entertainment and media company, is seeking an Accountant for an onsite contract opportunity in Hollywood. This role is responsible for core accounting activities supporting licensing agreements, revenue recognition, month-end and quarter-end close, reconciliations, financial analysis, and audit support. The position requires 3-5 years of accounting experience, a strong understanding of debits and credits, and hands-on experience with reconciliations and large data sets. Candidates with entertainment industry experience are encouraged to apply.

Role Overview:

• Contract Duration: 5-6 months


• Pay rate range: $50-56/hr W2 (No C2C or 1099)


• Scheduled: Fully onsite M-F, 9AM to 6PM
