LHH in Denver, CO is seeking an Accountant to join our growing finance team. You will maintain financial records, post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support month-end close and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, 2+ years of experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of GAAP. The role offers full-time onsite employment with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform account, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
