NYCM Insurance in New York is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team. You will collect and analyze data, prepare spreadsheets, and compile the company’s financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

You will perform variance analysis, ensure GAAP and statutory accounting compliance, mentor others, and collaborate with divisional partners while supporting external audits and process improvements.

Formación

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP).
• Experience with financial statement preparation and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform variance analysis and explain financial trends.
