Job summary

World Wide Rigging is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with Rubicon ERP to maintain accurate financial records and support daily operations.

You will handle AP/AR, bank reconciliations, GL maintenance, and monthly reporting while assisting with month-end close and tax filings.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Experience with Rubicon ERP strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Preferred experience Manufacturing, industrial supply, or distribution accounting.
• Inventory accounting

• ERP implementation or system maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting functions.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
• Maintain the general ledger and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Process customer invoices and vendor payments.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare sales tax and other required filings.
• Work closely with management on financial reporting and budgeting.
• Maintain accurate records within Rubicon ERP.
• Assist with payroll processing (preferred but not required).
• Support outside CPA during tax preparation and annual reviews.
