Job summary

EE Technologies, a Reno electronics manufacturer, seeks an Accountant to ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition, timely collections and payments, and robust financial controls. This role spans AR, AP, costing, inventory, reporting and compliance.

You will process AR/AP, issue invoices, monitor overdue payments, maintain customer and vendor files, and support month-end closing and audits. A Bachelor’s in accounting and at least 2 years of experience with GAAP and Excel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Detail oriented to ensure accuracy
• Effective verbal and written communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Process and record AR and AP transactions accurately and on time
• Generate and send AR invoices and account statements
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments
• Maintain customer and vendor files
• Correspond with customers and vendors
• Research and resolve AR and AP invoice discrepancies
• Record sales and use tax appropriately
• Compile monthly reports and reconciliations
• Support month-end closing, including subledger reconciliation and journal entries
• Provide supporting documentation for audits or projects
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial regulations
• Maintain documentation of detailed procedures
• May be asked to perform other duties at a lower or higher level of proficiency

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

Minimum 2 years accounting or bookkeeping experience

GAAP knowledge

Excel/Word/Outlook proficiency
