Your Role
General Responsibilities
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Support compliance reporting and documentation requirements.
- Assist with job costing and project financial tracking within Procore.
- Reconcile accounts, including bank and credit card statements.
- Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules.
- Collaborate with project managers and accounting team members on financial data.
- Utilize Procore regularly; support integration with Sage as needed.
Project & Compliance Responsibilities
- Process and support prevailing wage tracking and reporting, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assist with transfer and reconciliation of prevailing wage work across projects.
- Manage and track commitment change orders, ensuring proper documentation and system updates.
- Provide EPC administrative support, including coordination of financial and compliance‑related project activities.
- Monitor and ensure subcontractor compliance, including documentation and onboarding requirements.
- Track and maintain COI compliance for subcontractors.
- Support Procore administration, including managing project financial data and change orders.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project‑based environments.
- Experience with Procore and Sage preferred.
- Understanding of job costing and construction accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Proactive approach to problem solving.
Compensation
The annual salary range for this role is $70,000-$87,500. The salary range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
