Job summary

Kamayi is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Accountant to support UK-based clients. The role requires ACCA Affiliate and strong UK accounting standards knowledge. You will work remotely, handling accounts, VAT, payroll, and compliance.

Experience with UK-based clients and familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS Software, and VT Accounting is essential. Excellent English communication and independent work ethic are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have ACCA Affiliate qualification.
• Proven experience with UK-based clients or UK accounting systems.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and taxation.
• Ability to prepare accounts independently from source records.
• Experience in VAT returns and payroll processing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit statutory accounts from source records.
• Prepare and file VAT returns in line with UK regulations.
• Manage payroll processing, including calculations and submissions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting.
• Handle bookkeeping and reconciliations (bank, supplier, customer).
• Assist with tax computations and compliance requirements.
• Communicate with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries.
• Ensure adherence to UK accounting standards and deadlines.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team remotely, supporting UK-based clients. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements, along with hands‑on experience using leading accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit statutory accounts from source records
• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UK regulations
• Manage payroll processing, including calculations and submissions
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting
• Handle bookkeeping and reconciliations (bank, supplier, customer)
