Job summary

CGP Search in Tampa, FL is seeking an Accountant/Senior Accountant for a newly created role offering ownership and prominent visibility.

You will manage day-to-day accounting, billing, journal entries, and month-end close while partnering with operations and project teams to ensure accurate reporting and strong controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• 4–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in project-based industries is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, billing, and financial reporting.

CGP Search is partnering with a growing industrial services organization to identify an Accountant / Senior Accountant for a newly created opportunity in Tampa, Florida.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in construction, industrial services, manufacturing, field services, or other project-based industries is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, billing, and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with ERP systems or finance transformation projects is a plus.
