A well established, financially stable company headquartered in Tampa is in the middle of a meaningful transformation and they need a strong accounting leader to help drive it. We are talking multi-state expansion, new affiliate entities, a recently implemented ERP, and a CEO who is a former Big 4 CPA and knows exactly what good looks like. This is not a seat‑filler role. This is a newly created position with real visibility, real influence, and a genuine opportunity to put your fingerprints on an entire accounting function.

What you will do:

• Oversee the full technical accounting and financial reporting function
• Lead the monthly close, manage tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Own the annual audit, and directly supervise a team of four
• Report directly to an incoming CFO and work closely with leadership

What they need:

• CPA required
• 10 or more years of progressive accounting experience
• 5 or more years in a Controller or Accounting Manager seat
• Strong GAAP, close management, and audit experience
• Multi‑entity or multi‑subsidiary background
• Comfortable in a fast moving, operations heavy environment
• Must be local to Tampa or open to relocation (assistance available)
