You will work closely with operations, production, purchasing, and leadership teams to provide financial insights that inform profitability and business decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.
  • Review vendor invoices, customer deductions, and account discrepancies.
  • Assist with cash flow monitoring and forecasting activities.

We are seeking applicants for an Accountant role with a great company outside Winston-Salem. The accountant is responsible for supporting the financial operations of a manufacturing organization by maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing production costs, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role works closely with operations, production, purchasing, and leadership teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
